As Project/Account Manager, you will be responsible for multiple client engagements at any given time, along with ongoing existing account management responsibilities. Your goal will be to help client unlock this online potential. You will oversee the successful completion of project objectives, while effectively managing timelines and budgets. You will use your consulting skills to work directly with clients to develop strategies, create proposals, manage resources, and track projects, ensuring quality control.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic and tactical direction of diverse web development teams
- Provide consultation and guidance to clients and project teams with respect to web best practices
- Create schedules and effectively manage resources for projects
- Schedule and coordinate the timely flow of work within the team and client
- Manage the scope and budget of projects
- Report and review project progress with ownership
- Ensure positive project outcomes
- High degree of interaction with clients
- Assist account team in securing client reviews/approvals on projects
- Uncover new project opportunities based on client needs
Skills and Experience Required
- Ability to manage and complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines and constraints
- At least 3-5 years of experience working on web projects
- Demonstrated understanding of web best practices and standards
- Experience managing a team of 5 or more web designers and developers
- Strong understanding of web production and deployment principles is a plus
Education/Experience Requirements
Applicants must have at least a Bachelor's Degree with preference given to Business Administration, Management or related field. Candidates should have the ability to interface with high-level clients. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential. A solid knowledge of web design, development and programming will contribute greatly to your success in this position.
